Great post! Great articulation of a subject that is difficult to put into words.
Before I experience oneness, and truly realized that I wasn't Kristina, but the awareness witnessing Kristina's experience, I got my feelings hurt constantly. I took everything personally, and I would allow the hurt to permeate me. Experiencing oneness, and understanding who I really am is incredibly liberating, as I am able to let other people's projections roll off of me, or “pass through the emptiness” as you put it.
Sometimes I forget during my daily life, and I still identify with Kristina, and I'm okay with that. But at the beginning and end of the day, along with other moments along the way, I remind myself who I truly am, knowing I am the awareness witnessing everyone and everything, even though I am no-one and no-thing.
This was beautiful and grounding that reminder that the ‘self’ isn’t something to find but something to see through hit me hard. You captured that paradox so clearly: the more we look for who we are, the more we realize we’ve always just been the awareness itself. ✨
Beautiful writing Josh! It makes me want to get back into reading about philosophy, there's always a lot of insights that help us step back and become more aware when we need them the most
I loved this piece, every bits of it! Full of powerful insights. Thank you for sharing your wisdom with us. 🤍🤍
p.s. I laughed out loud when I read these lines: “ We cannot point to any particular place and say, ‘Aha! Here it is—here lies the self!’”
This beautiful piece brought both awareness and joy to my day! 🫶🏻
Thank you so much! It really means a lot. 🫶❤️

Thank you, Kristina for such a wonderful response. You're so right, it's extremely easy to forget what we really are. ❤️
I've sub-4-sub, already. Let's get connected and support one another.

This is so well-written 👏
Truly, we are not our thoughts, we are what we do.
We are witnesses to whatever unfolds before us.
Thank you! I'm glad it resonated with you! 💙
